Begin your adventure at the edge of the Chianti countryside, just outside the busy center of Florence, where peace, open skies, and rolling hills await. This scenic bike tour is the perfect blend of exploration, nature, and authentic Tuscan culture. The journey begins with a gentle uphill ride of about two kilometers, giving you plenty of chances to pause, take in the breathtaking views of the countryside, and capture memorable photos. As you make your way up, your guide will share interesting insights about the region, from its rich winemaking heritage to the charming traditions that make Tuscany world-famous. The route takes you through the elegant neighborhoods once home to Florentine nobility, surrounded by stately villas and lush landscapes that tell stories of the Renaissance era.
When you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with a stop at a stunning Renaissance villa tucked away in the hills behind Florence. Here, you’ll step into a beautifully preserved Italian-style garden and enjoy a guided tasting of fine wines and extra virgin olive oil, all produced right on the estate. These tastings are paired with a light Tuscan snack featuring local delicacies, allowing you to savor the authentic flavors of the region. On your way back to Florence, the ride offers a new perspective a scenic downhill route that passes by Piazzale Michelangelo, one of the most iconic viewpoints overlooking the entire city. You’ll stop here to admire the sweeping panorama before continuing into the charming San Niccolò district. To end this perfect half-day adventure, enjoy a well-deserved stop at a local gelateria, where a scoop of traditional Italian gelato provides the sweetest finale to your unforgettable Tuscan ride.

Highlight of my trip to Florence! The bike ride was so fun and beautiful, as well as informative!

We had a fantastic time on this half-day bike tour through the beautiful Tuscan countryside! Our guide Giuseppe was excellent – very knowledgeable and full of interesting insights about Florence, its surroundings, and the many famous people from the city’s rich history. The cycling route was very enjoyable and manageable, even for those who aren’t regular cyclists. It offered a perfect mix of stunning views, fun exercise, and great local stories. The wine and olive oil tastings were a lovely way to finish the experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see a different side of Florence and enjoy a relaxed, well-organized day outdoors!

Filippo was our tour guide through 3 amazing boutique wineries. Incredibly knowledgeable and gracious, he made the tour a genuine and delightful experience. At each winery not only did we taste delicious wine and food, but it felt like we were visiting the homes of friends. The winery owners were all passionate about their wines and took great care with every step of the process. Wonderful authentic, intimate experience I would recommend highly. Just a magical day!

Alex was our guide. We enjoyed seeing the countryside overlooking Florence. This was our 2nd trip to Florence, the first time we did things in city centre.. This time we looked for a different perspective and were glad we made the trip. The uphill portions of the trip were difficult but not too long. We’re a family ages 20s-50s, we were able to do all the biking using regular bikes. We’re also glad to have learned about olive oil making and Chianti wine.

Angie did a wonderful job showing us the Chianti region while keeping the tour fun and entertaining. The 3 wineries visited all were unique and great in their own way. We had personal tours from the owners of 2 of the wineries which was very cool to learn their stories. The small group setting (8 people or less) was perfect size and being picked up from downtown Florence made the whole experience super easy. 10/10 would recommend!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this tour! Each winery had its own unique history and story behind each of the wines we tasted, the lunch La Pia was delightful, and the views were gorgeous. An absolute must have if you're looking for a unique intimate Tuscan experience beyond the hustle and bustle of Florence. The highlight of the tour was our guide, Filippo. He was such a genuine and kind person who took so much care in giving us the best quality experience. His knowledge of the wine and region was exceptional and gave us such a greater understanding and appreciation for the wine and for Tuscany.

Calin was exceptional! He was personable, knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, He answered all our question well. He made an effort in being prepared to answer some tough ones on a variety of subjects. We would recommend him to others. Also. The service of the company was excellent. Great communication and accusation to vegetarians. The restaurant was lovely. And thank you for finding my key!

My husband and I could not have imagined a better experience! Angie was our tour guide and she was amazing! She took us to three small, family owned wineries where we learned about the wine making process. We were able to taste several wines and olive oil at each location, lunch was included at the second winery and it was one of the best meals we had! We loved that the tour size was only up to 8 people, it really made for an intimate experience. We would recommend this to anyone traveling through Florence!

Fabulous tour, we had an amazing time visiting local wineries, getting to hear their stories and seeing what they do in a very personalised way. Our guide was Filippo who was extremely knowledgeable about the vineyards, local area and wines in general. Filippo kept everything on track and was a lovely host. We picked this tour as it catered to vegans which most of the others don’t. They took so much care over how they planned the day out and looked after the group. An amazing experience from start to finish and would thoroughly recommend.

Had a great morning out on e-bikes with our tour guide Ale in the hills around Florence. It was a good amount of cycling and the e-bikes definitely made it easier. Stopped off for a late morning snack of traditional meats, cheeses and bread served with wine or soft drinks (gluten free option available) at an out of the way restaurant. The red wine was very good. Loads of good photo apps of Florence. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. This is a small company trying to compete with bigger ones running bigger tours, but our group was small (only 7 of us) whereas some of the larger companies doing similar had groups of 30 with them. If you want something more personal, use this company instead. This was a great trip to get away from the crowds and would definitely recommend.
